IP address of a domain-name server to configure


Command Description:

This command is used to define up to six domain name servers on the router.


Example:

The following example configures a primary dns server at 164.12.12.1, as well as a secondary at 143.34.23.8:

Router(config)#ip name-server 164.12.12.1 143.34.23.8
