Syntax:

bgp default local-preference value

no bgp default local-preference value

 

Syntax Description:

value

Local preference value range from 0 to 4294967295. A higher value is preferred.

 


Command Description:

 

To change the default local preference value, use the bgp default local-preference router configuration command. Local preference value from 0 to 429496729. Higher is more preferred.

Example:

 

The following example raises the default local preference value from the default of 100 to 200:

Router(config)#router bgp 200
Router(config-router)#bgp default local-preference 200
